Hello!

The Lord gave us safe travels to Zambia via a night's stay in South Africa. Friday Steve Hafler greeted us at the airport, treated us to lunch with 3 of his girls and then took us to the Hunts where we are staying. That night we enjoyed dinner with the Haflers. Our church is greatly privileged to support them. They are indeed kindred spirits. Saturday we went to Faith Children's Village where Helen Berman ministers. What a joy to see the work god has raised up there. Helen was with us during last year's missions conference. She is one amazing woman. All the missionaries had a cook out at the Halfers on Saturday night. I believe there are about six different couples (with many children!) ministering here that fellowship together. God has raised up quite a team. Today my husband preached a stirring message on Lazarus and the Rich man - asking the question - which would you rather be. it was a blessing. We had a delicious Zambian lunch with the pastor and his lovely family.

  • This darling 3 year old girl was playing with her little scarf head dress in church - looking around at the ladies and doing everything just like they were doing it. When they turned in the Bible, she picked up the Malayalam hymnal - upside down of course - and pretended to read. This was our last service in India.
