Hello!

Today we are winding down in India and getting ready to go to Zambia. Laundry is done, suitcases are almost packed and we are about ready. We have a long journey to get there, so we appreciate your prayers. We are doing well, though a little weary. Today we went to the hospital and got typhoid vaccines.  We also started our malaria meds, so thanks for praying that our bodies handle the vaccines and medications well. We leave here around 6:00 am, fly to Dubai, then on to Johannesburg where we spend the night. Thursday we fly from Johannesburg to Ndola.

What wonderful fellowship we have had. Sophie told us thank you for coming. It meant a lot to her to have a woman to chat with. I sense that the missionary wives get very hungry for fellowship. This is a hard, but rewarding life. I am thankful I was able to spend time with Sophie. We did a lot of music together, which was a blessing to both of us!

• This morning's front page add - a 12 foot pithon got into someone's home, they think because he was after a small dog. The owner called the city and a specialist came and caught the snake. It is illegal to kill pithons!

• This is the very first church the Thomas' started and built.

• South Sheridan, under Pastor Nelson, gave this van to the ministry.

• Sophie and pastor went exploring on  the Thomas' property. He is holding the roots of the tapioca. They eat tapioca chips over here - like potato chips.
