Hello Dear Highlands Family,
The Gospel Campaign - Thursday through tonight (Saturday) - has been a blessing. Jeff spoke last night, a very powerful message on the rich man and Lazarus. The thought provoking question was, "which would you rather be?" It was very quiet. Two raised their hands that they were saved. We felt that God was really working. Yesterday we went sight seeing and shopping. Oh my, it is hot. We enjoyed the time of fellowship. They took us to a lovely restaurant, though we joked about the name, "Abad", telling their son that we ate at a bad restaurant.
Today we will be in the new church for the very first service. You can sense the excitement in the believers. Jeff is speaking in SS and the a.m. service, but an Indian speaker will preach the final meeting of the Gospel Campaign.

- Friday morning we had prayer and fasting. and another meeting that night.
- Saturday we went sight seeing to the Hill Palace - an old Cochin palace, full of interesting things from their history. The pictures reminds you to remove your shoes. It's difficult for us westerners to walk around in the dusty buildings bare footed.
- Notice the lovely boganvilla vine.
- My heart was in my throat with our driver yesterday. There's a reason for this road sign warning!
- Sophie and Santhosh took us to a lovely restaurant called "Abad".
